History:

On August 27, 1927, the school was dedicated and renamed Chabot School in honor of Anthony Chabot, a 19th-century entrepreneur who built Oakland’s first municipal water supply by damming Temescal Creek. There were 415 students enrolled. The Chabot district at the time was a little larger than it is today; records of PTA members include addresses that are now in South Berkeley or slightly west of the current Chabot district border.

The Mission:

Through meaningful relationships, intentional inclusivity, and responsive instruction Chabot Elementary interrupts inequitable practices and challenges biases. We uncover and remove the predictability of success and failure that correlates to any social or cultural factor. As a community, we discover and cultivate the unique gifts, talents, and interests of every human being.

The Vision:

Chabot students are valued and empowered so that they can take academic risks, problem solve, make connections, and use evidence to think critically. Students develop empathy, awareness, and perspective-taking to support each other, celebrate differences, and be agents of change.

Chabot Elementary is one of the best schools around. It’s been called a “hidden gem” by many parents and students alike. And with test scores that are higher than any other elementary school in California. Whether you’re a student or a parent, you’ll feel right at home here at Chabot Elementary School. They have great teachers who care about your educational experience. Plus they offer lots of extracurricular activities so your child can find their niche and excel in it.

Chabot Elementary School, located in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Oakland, California, provides a wide range of educational programs to students ranging from kindergarten through fifth grade.

Chabot is more than simply an elementary school; activities include yoga, chess club, and robotics for pupils who wish to go deeper with their education. The institution offers outstanding instruction in a caring atmosphere where each student receives individual attention. Strong parental involvement and support are provided by the diverse community.

I'm Lisa, your new Realtor & friend.

My passion is meeting new people, getting to know them and learning their stories. Before I jumped into the world of real estate, I spent nearly 15 years in front of the camera anchoring and reporting the news. The mix of being a Bay Area native, Emmy-winning reporter and now Realtor gives me a deep understanding of the market and has made me an excellent listener and communicator.

I consider it an honor to work with you and guide you during one of the more important times in your life.

hey there!
