To best serve all learners, we use a variety of different programs which aim to foster self-directed learning, creativity, critical thinking skills, collaboration, and individualized instruction. The best way for students to learn is by doing but by personalizing the content while providing support based on each student’s needs. Each student has their path in life and at Lincoln Elementary we wish to best serve them by offering one-on-one support with teachers who are passionate about teaching.
Our school has four special education teachers that offer small group or one-on-one instruction for students who want additional support. We also offer PBL (Problem-Based-Learning) for our students in grades K-5 to best serve their interests and present them with opportunities that best suit their passions. Unlike other schools, we do not limit our students to working on projects alone but encourage them to collaborate while providing instruction when necessary.
Our school has a STEAM program at all grade levels which allows students the opportunity to explore technology and the arts through hands-on activities. This allows us to best prepare our future generation for the jobs of tomorrow. There is one class dedicated solely to technology while another is meant for exploring the arts in which each student can pick one project per day best suited for their interest. We hope you visit Lincoln Elementary soon so your child can join in on.
