Lisa:  Today’s an exciting day because I rented this Kona Ice truck and I’m hosting not just one but two neighborhood parties to welcome my clients to Piedmont.

Our first stop was on Fairview Avenue to welcome my clients, the Bowman family. Denise Fullerton, a former Berkeley High School teacher and now the owner of this Kona Ice truck, made the party fun and festive.

Denise Fullerton:  It’s shaved ice. We have three sizes of cups, and you get your ice. Then, you have the option of making your own at the flavor wave.

Lisa: The company has given back over $200 million to communities.

Denise Fullerton:  I knew I wanted to retire, but I still wanted to work in the community and with schools, and this was a good way to do that.

Lisa:  The truck brought out longtime neighbors, friends of the home’s previous owners, and new friendships were made while bonding over shaved ice.

Our next stop was on Ricardo Avenue. This street really showed up to welcome my clients, the Torosean family. Some of the neighbors I met have lived here since the 1970s, while others moved in more recently, and this was the first time they were meeting their neighbors.

When my clients move to Piedmont, I always tell them how amazing the Piedmont Police Department is. They respond to every call and always show up to my Welcome to Piedmont parties.

Officer Tyler Petit: What makes Piedmont so special is the people who work here. Everyone I work with has a passion for serving the community, and it’s really nice to be a part of this family. Having a community that backs us and creates that kind of family is what makes it so special.

Lisa:  A long-time neighbor told me this party was a first for Ricardo Avenue. They enjoyed it so much many neighbors stayed to socialize long after the Kona Ice truck and I had left.

I'm Lisa, your new Realtor & friend.

My passion is meeting new people, getting to know them and learning their stories. Before I jumped into the world of real estate, I spent nearly 15 years in front of the camera anchoring and reporting the news. The mix of being a Bay Area native, Emmy-winning reporter and now Realtor gives me a deep understanding of the market and has made me an excellent listener and communicator.

I consider it an honor to work with you and guide you during one of the more important times in your life.

hey there!
