The pandemic has hit Chinatowns across the country hard. With no tourists visiting, pandemic-related racism against Asian-Americans and now an increase in violent attacks and robberies on Asians, the past year has been a challenge. I spoke to Chelsea Hung, the owner of Washington Bakery and Restaurant in San Francisco’s Chinatown about how everything has changed but she’s not ready to give up on her family business.
